ok so while i was downtown in my new hometown i stumbled across a goldmine in vintage bicycle parts
he has rams horn bars in really nice shape for 40 bucks
a Schwinn corvette with apes a sting ray i believe its 1969 in cherry condition
so while looking thru i found one i really want
but i had a few concerns
first off the bike is in excellent shape no scratches shines like brand new
its paint color is pea green and yellow
the tires were 24 inch look to be gumwalls but were skinny
look to be off a roadbike
it was a coaster brake version which really makes me want it since ive not seen many coaster brake versions
it didn't have the typical spyder frame style it looked more road bikeish but it did have apes and the spyder imprinted seat on it and it had sears headbadge on it
i assume it was 1970 or 71 by its design
after saying all this and being the bike is close to show quality if not already is 75 bucks a good price?
im ready to buy it but wanted to check here first and see if its worth it
i didn't take pics but it was shining like brand new just not sure if its 100 percent original
