Found this frame on my vacation traveling thru New Mexico at a antique shop. Was in a pile but loved the shape. Took it home and tossed around some ideas. Finally decided to make another stretch. Then decided where to place the new seat location. Thought it was cool but then chasing some motercycle parts ran across some damaged saddlebags for a bike and was given them. I've been into bicycles for year and have a massive collection of parts so everything buy add on parts I already have. I make my own bars and designed all my jigs to build on. The last two years I've been going through health problems so this keeps my mind off of things. I started collecting oldies years ago and have friends as pickers all over the country. But when I became sick it opened me up to the custom stuff. May 20th I stretched this on and it all went crazy from there. Had it done rather fast and started riding it to get coffee in the mornings. That's when a guy at Starbucks turned me on to your site. I'm 59 and on a early retirement so just learning about the internet. So your site and was hooked right away. In the last 22 months I've completed 16 bikes and gathered up 6 more projects. Just last night I bought a 41 Hawthorne Mercury to stash away for next year's class 1 build off. I'm hooked. So cool. Got so excited after entering I've created a new front fork and girder to attach a different light I found in my travels. That's for making me apart of this...
