Hey guys, I'm gearing up to order a few parts and some tires for a bike....and I'm considering ordering from "StreetLowrider.com"

Has anyone ever ordered from them before?? They've got some darn cheap prices.......and let's face it...imported parts are imported parts.....so it all comes down to price and service in my book.

Please speak up if you guys have had any experience with them :)

THANKS,

Brian

I think I ordered a 26" cheapo springer from those guys, I think everything worked out o.k. The forks arrived in good shape, still cheap, but intact. I did the same thing and searched for the best price with shipping, they were the cheapest. as far as cheapo springers go I think the best quality i've found was the 26" actual lowrider forks from some place in Redding, California. Can't remember the name.

got my springer and so other junk from them too, the only prob i had is they tried to charge me twice .. and sent me two of everything i ordered... i had to wait a few days to get refunded but the parts are cool though

i have never ordered from them...

however, these are places i have ordered from...

http://www.battleaxecycles.com/

lowest prices i think i've found, typical lowrider quality. though i've always received my parts, they get zero customer service points in my book. i guess they just dont like to answer emails...

http://www.bicycledesigner.com/

same as above except they do answer emails and have customer service.

http://www.bikepartsusa.com/

pretty reasonable prices, good shipping, large selection, always had good results here...

this is by far the best customer service i have encountered, i cant say enough good things about deb and her level of service... super fast shipping. i would rather pay a little more for something, and order it from here...

Hey October, Thanks for this link......the prices are a bit cheaper than I was looking at.......but I'm curious ....did they take forever to ship your order or what? Just curious why you're not fold of thier customer service....

i have ordered from them several times...

if you want a tracking number, you have to pester them...

the first time i ordered from them the shipping was normal.

after that it was taking longer than it should.

they dont like to answer emails... and when they do, they dont answer your questions...

i emailed them once or twice, just to ask them why they dont answer email, and if they realized it wasnt good customer service, and that they should email a tracking number when your package ships, everything but telling them that i would never order from them again... and still nothing...

that is just my experience...

it's too bad, cause i like their $7.99 whitewalls, and their $8.95 handlebars

I have a whole bunch of these bookmarked, including StreetLowrider... but the only one I ever ordered from yet is Master Lowrider.

I actually got the wrong slick from him the first time, but he was good about taking it back, covering return shipping, and sending the right one.

For selection, it seems this place is REALLY good:

but I'd really like to hear some people's experiences with them before using them. the site is a little annoying to navigate, since you have to click on the description to get a picture of anything, but they seem to have just about every permutation of every tire still being made for old bikes, among other things.

btw, October, thanks to that link for bikeworldusa, I hadn't seen that one yet...

no problem...

again, i have always had a good experience from bikeworldusa...

i have also seen other people say good things about Deb.

i once ordered on Mon. evening, got an email tues. saying that my order has shipped, and my package was at my door when i got home wed. afternoon...
granted, they are in upstate New York, and i am in Maine, so it doesnt have that far to go, but it's still pretty fast...

Well, I just placed my first order with BattleAxe .......Honestly, comparing them and Street Lowrider I saved roughly $15....and I still ended up getting a couple more items and still beat SL's price.

BIG Thanks October for that link........now I've got darn near everything to build my '69 Sears Spyder.

Thier price on thier tires was unbeatable

Also, thier shipping was reasonable too.....almost $5 cheaper than SL's quoted shipping. Cheap shipping is definately something that I find refreshing in this age of getting taken to the cleaners on ebay and alot of websites.

Well, I got the parts on Thursday...and YES, I'm pleased! Good packing, and fast shipping.

I hadn't heard from Battle Axe (no tracking number) when I placed my order.....until Saturday. I decided to email them to ask about a tracking number.... and they called my cell phone and left me a tracking number on Monday morning. That's what I call pretty good service IMHO.

I'll definately be back to order from them.

I still need to find a few more parts for this build....but I'm on a VERY limited budget right now....so the project might be delayed for a couple weeks.

Just got a package from them. Two weeks to northern Canada from LBC, packed well. Didn’t need to deal with them directly though.
