April!! bethelhem ride PA pics added

Main Street Dropouts are gonna cruise Historical Bethlehem Sunday april 17th , meeting at sand island its a park , theres a canal towpath for nice smooth riding, be can hike our bikes up main street on north side bethlehem and see the sights , and cruise back down towards the island , hop over one of the bridges and head into south side to see the famous steal stacks , and maybe even go see the casino .

ill be getting there at 4 to wait for people im sure some people will be a little late ( as i have in the past ) lol , riding hopefully by 4:30 or so , there are 2 of my club members meeting us up at 6pm b/c they work . hope your coming out !

Cool, I have a Prewar Schwinn I'm kinda working on...but if I don't have it all together by then, I'll have to settle for my plan "B"...My old school 26" BMX cruiser. :roll: I work on that day, so I will be around 4'ish :roll:

I'm going to try and make it. Heading to Cecil County in the morning to do a little racing. If I get home in time I'll take a trip to Bethlehem.

I had a great time too! I'll let the pictures do the talking... 8)
Saw these guys heading to the ride from Maryland and followed them to the ride.

A few of the locals joined us in the parking lot. Seems that their ride was ending just as our ride was beginning.

After a nice big hill we found ourselves cruising the backstreets of Bethlehem...

HotRodJen (in plaid) was our unofficial tour guide

then it was downhill to the park and a Civil war reenactment camp

We met more folks in the parking lot before starting the second half of the ride

Then it was down the bike path that paralleled the river and the steel mill...

This dude gets a trophy for trucking his wounded bike over his shoulder

picture time by the Steel Mill...

next it was over the bridge to the south side and the famous bottle cap horse.

and finally, at least for me, locking the bikes up for some well deserved refreshments!

An epic ride! Thanks HotRodJen! Can't wait till the next one!
