Late 1960s-early 70s Raleigh Sprite 5-speed - 23 inch frame on 26 x 1 3/8 wheels. Great for a rider 5 ft 6in or taller. Has the sought-after S5 Sturmey internal gear hub (1967 date) with correct bell crank. Highly original bike with great original paint condition. This is what Raleigh Bronze Green ought to look like, even after almost-50 years. Original rear reflector, new-old-stock German pedals from the 1960s. Chrome is in great shape as well. Original hubs, Westrick rims, and spokes. Original Brooks B72 is in good shape and rideable. Has Sturmey dual-stick shifter, new shifter and brake cables in the original housings, new tires, new tubes, Dare handgrips. Bearings have been cleaned and re-greased. Rear hub has fresh grease seals and new 20-weight oil in the center. Original brake pad holders with new Kool Stop pads set in them. Original Pretube Minor rear rack in good shape. Previous owner over-tightened kickstand and flattened the chainstays, but it has the proper kickstand now and works fine. This is the best tall frame Sprite I've ever come across; been riding it for about 3 years now and need to make space. If you like the deluxe Raleigh Superbe but want something faster, this is it.

$300 firm price - local pick up in the Kingstowne/Alexandria/Springfield Virginia area.

Cool ride, you really need a pic with the shifters up to show of how this has the twin shifters. The SA Twinshift is part of what makes this cool.

I can ship the bike in the lower 48 states by ground as well (Bike Flights). Actually shipping would be on top of the $300 base price. I don't charge for handling or box/materials - just shipping.

Potentially moving to a new place. Also making a deal for a 1951 Raleigh Clubman (they're not cheap here).
