not sure why but since I first seen this last year I had to have it. It’s so weird seeing a purple boys bike!

Torn down and given a good scrub, I like the little bit of the original graphics that are left on it

Trying out some rust remover on this crusty part. I’ve had good luck with it removing rust but I’m guessing the paints gone!

I normally don’t build much outside the build off anymore but I couldn’t let this sit. So I’m going to put it together.

Tryed out the look of some 1.95 mountain bike tires. Going to inflate one tomorrow but I don’t think the bike will clear them.

Will probably try these on it tomorrow. These were purchased for my first klunker build and seemed ok aside from mud.

Also checked out the gum wall 1.75s and figured I’d see if I liked shocks or the stock forks 🤷🏼
 
I’m not a patient person. So the original plan was this appliance white I got for 25 cents a can a few years ago

But the last can actually plugged up. So I went with some gray primer and a bit of Ford blue

Got the chain put on today, but I’m out of modern pedals it seems and I’m not sure about wet and muddy feet on some 60s pedals! Day 3 of rain
