Hello everyone, my handle is old guy. I’ve been riding bikes for the past 60 years plus. It’s one of my favourite activities. Over 15 years ago I tried my hand at building a few recumbent bikes. The reason why I did this was over the years I’ve had four back operations. So I wanted a bike that was Easy on my back. I still ride my mountain bike but I favour the recumbent now because of its comfort. I’m going to take a look now and see if I can find some old pictures that I can share with you all. PS. I Look forward to sharing and conversing with you on this forum. Take care and will talk later. Regards old guy

Oh arh, cap'n, you certainly have a plank to 'walk' there, fantastic concept.
Thanks! GeePig. I like the concept too. I haven’t welded for over 50 years so I thought this would be the easiest and fastest way to build my Recumbent bike. lol 😂

Welcome. There was a member that ratrodded a recumbent several months back. It was way cool.

It was long WB- head tube in front of the pedals. He did not build the frame, but he sure made it look cool.
