Chopper gets some nighttime safety upgrades (LED glow pics/vid)

It dawned on me that with the days getting shorter and everything, I might want to do something to the bigger bicycle (Giant Stiletto) to make sure I could safely take a ride after dark. I had previously stripped all reflectors from this thing, so I started by simply putting the reflectors back on the wheels and adding a little reflective tape to the BMX pedals:

MN law says you have to have a headlight, so I found a chopper-ish one:

While researching lights in general, I stumbled upon these LED strips (<-LINK). I thought it might be neat to see if I could create an underbody glow for the bike, and while looking at the crannies on it I discovered there was plenty of room in the chainguard to mount an LED strip:

There's actually all kinds of colors and display modes for the underbody lights (I mounted the controller under the seat). To get an idea, I just set it to a demo cycle and had my wife shoot a short youtube vid from my phone:
