This frame has been hanging in my shop for a couple of years, having sold the wheel set out from under it.

I got the idea to throw a bunch of parts from a girl's J.C. Higgins I had on there, to get it going again as an around town beater. So I stripped off the paint, cut off the rear fender, and threw some parts on it.

I then made a bracket out of a 2 foot square to attach the rear fender and chain guard.

So, here she is now, Comfort Cruiser v2.0.

Ugh... sideways blues. I was going to launch into an explanation for all that I did on the seat post and fork, but I'm too tired, and angry with the way this site loads up photos, so you'll just have to glean it from the sideways pics.
 
The saddle is looking good on there.
Is it comfortable? Looks like it should be...

I've only taken it around the block a couple of times test riding it so far, but it seems okay. We'll see.
