Elgin serial numbers

Does anybody know where I can find a serial number chart for 20's - 30"s Elgins? Thanks.

This will require some guesswork on the age "range" of your bike and some Elgin history, but Elgin was sold at Sears for a while, Columbia built bikes for Sears, here is a Columbia SN link. Longshot, but it doesn't look like an Elgin online SN list exists (anywhere obvious). You'll probably have to guess it based on photos of other Elgin bikes.

Thanks guys, I can't find any info whatsoever on this bike. The guy claims it's a 32 model called an "Oriole" but we took it apart and nothing is stamped with a year. I can't even find a picture anywhere that looks like the bike. I guess I'll contact nbhaa and see if they have any info.

There is a bicycle museum not far from me and the guy who runs it specializes in Elgins.
