Firestone/Monark year help

I still very curious what year this firestone is. Anyone got the monark book?

The s/n places it in early 1953, with the year strting out with 1387524. Most 53's had the second style springer (similar to Schwinn's) and the larger chainguard. Since yours is an early one, maybe they were using up leftover parts. -Adam

great! Thank you. Would the later ones have the nub on the frame to block the springer from hitting the frame too?
