I didn't see the cost, but knew it was probably pricey.

For that money you leave with knowledge and a very cool frame you built yourself. Price a custom frame nowadays. Price a week of specialized training in a class of 5 students. The downside is it's for lugged and brazed frames which constrains you geometry a little. On the other hand it is the technique used for some of the most beautiful road bikes ever built.

If I lived in or near Philly I'd do it in a heartbeat. One of these days.....
