From door knob to shift knob

I found this awesome antique door knob mounted to a board with a couple of glass door knobs in a antique shop today . Had to have it I think its going to make a great suicide shift knob for my Shelby project.

Great looking knob. I used an old glass knob for the shifter on my Firewing build in BO8.

We have a bunch of those in our house, so much more interesting than what is available for new hardware. Our house is only 6yrs old but all the interior doors came from the 20's.

My buddy just used an old brass door knob on a vintage bike pump that was missing the handle. I told him I was going to steal it and buy his kids a new one

That's known as a "Bennington" knob, sweet! -Adam
