Hi
hope i posted in “finished 2022” some let me know if i noobed it
My own rules were

- it had to be functional
-had to have harmonious old and new elements

at the last hour the Roadmaster gave up a heart donation w/the Avid brakes… i was rooting for thr “Predator” brake system but the levers were for a 9-yr-old on a 20” wheel. Now they look and work great. Even tho i modernized the back w/Ultegra pads (ha!… that’s when i realized the old levers were bunk) i levt the old whit pad on front bcuz it works great.

this klunker is tight. Does not klunk. Goes like stink.

thanks everybody… hit me up if posted in err.

peace!

I didn't really know which bit to mention first, the wheels, the paint, the bars, the brakes... Lovely result!

Thank you very much… the choice of “red” was the historical nod to the subtle flecks of OG Arnold-Schwinn red primer…. seen more and more, emerging from that black paint.

When i found the frame it had been tossed into scrap 2-3 times… once o spied the AS binder bolt i knew it was something. Before all that i thought it was a cheep copy, the paint was improbable looking.

I wanted it to be special.

was late to work this AM riding it around the building…. Jumping speed bumps

thank you very much for your visit!

✌🏼🥃😎
