My 1990 Giant Boulder I've owned since it was a few months old. I worked in a bike shop and bought this with some parts missing on it. It went to college with me and many other adventures. 5 yrs ago, i pulled it out of storage, went through it, and put some different bars and michelin rock country tires on it. It's been great riding again. I put the tires on my wife's bike when I found a hybrid for myself and just put these on this week. Thumb shifters will always rule!

Giaint ice bike with tungston studs. Here is a nostalgia picture after I removed the studded tires and gave it away this summer. It was rusty from five winters of salt and needed a new drive train and the brakes were sticky.

I like Giant. My son has a mid-2000's Boulder and I have a same era Yukon. Back then the Yukon only cost a little more than the Boulder. Mine looks a lot more like the current ATX than the current Yukon, which seems to be higher end than the one I have.
