In a last ditch effort when I should have been finishing packing the popup for my Denver trip I took some time on Sunday evening in the good light to do a test ride/ photo shoot. On the way to my location chain shuck-no tools one of my buddys that bike commutes with me lives on the way so a quick tool borrow and I was off again. Rides nice when you tighten the hub nuts.
The build costs:
Frame free from a friend
wheels free from bike abbandonded at LBS
Handle bars and stem free LBS dumpster
Grips $10
Chain $8
Tires pair $30
Sprocket used $5
Pedals $10
Steel 5/16 rod $15
Center tube free 3/4 emt conduit scrap
New seat If I get it $29
Paint $20
Wood Oak scrap from house project
Led for headlight $6
Headlight dumpster dive flashlight head
