Green Schwinn Jaguar.

Picked this one up this morning. ...4 hour road trip to think and hope it was as nice as pictures showed. Does have a little surface rust and pitting on the chrome but over all pretty nice condition. I only have one other green schwinn and about 10 red ones so this definitely helps balance the collection. Stainless fenders are almost prefect condition along with the aluminum book rack. Some kid really took care of his bike.

I got one just like that. It's a 55ish and called a mark2. Has a coaster brake with a bendix 2 speed and shifter. Mine is black and chrome. It is so clean it looks restored. My most preserved bike by far. I m a big boy (6'2" 260pds) and have really come to appreciate this smaller bike.

I think they changed from the Mark II to the Mark IV in 1960 or '61. New style chrome rack, new style chainguard and new seat. Gary

Last Mark II's in 57, no 58 Jag, then the IV in 59, V in 64/5ish. -Adam

Nice mark ii. I have a gold V, Red IV the green IV I just aquired but I'm going to have to be on the look out for an II I like the phantom style rear rack way better than the metal rod style!

The tank on those two bikes are awesome. Sure don't make them like that no more.
