I've finally got around to repainting a BMX cruiser that I picked up a while back. The paint scheme was inspired by this old cruiser that was posted here (I forget whose bike this is ) I used satin finish in navy and black, the original paint was yellow and in bad shape.
I added the 24x2.5" Maxxis Hookworms and they interfered with the rear brake so I had to temporarily cannibalize one from my tandem. I use this as my gym bike and for mostly suburban riding, so the saddle is high and the tires pressure is at 75lbs.
The Hookworms are huge, they just clear the stays by a couple of millimeters. I need to replace the brakes with something that sticks out less, and maybe a black chain.
