I bought this gem at a local estate auction this past Saturday. It's a well preserved Harvard Deluxe. More info here: http://ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25897&p=257398#p257398
Looks to be a one-owner bike. Skiptooth and rear New Departure. It has a horn and light. Need to figure out how to get them working again. I put fresh batteries into the horn yesterday and it "clunked", but no horn sound came out. Any ideas on how to get the horn working again? I'm thinking that it's either a bad ground or the switch.
I aired up the tires and took for a spin. Tires are in good shape and hold air. The coaster brake needs a little work, but should it still stops.
The newer bike stand will get replaced with a rear wheel stand.
Looks like this one had skirt guards on the rear fender (??). Can anyone confirm?
I'll likely pull the basket on the rear and replace it with a child seat that I've had laying around. Most all of my women's bikes have a matching child seat.
Looks like I'll be selling one or two of my other women's bikes to make room for this one. This puts me at 12 or 13 bikes now. I need to downsize.
