I added a second row of LEDs to the Boss today. They are 4x4 work lights and came as a pair - the second set were sitting in drawer for 12 months but today I decided to make a mount for them and got busy with the aluminium strip.
Running them off a 12V rechargeable power cell mounted behind the race plate.

I have added Springer front forks to my Schwinn Corvette so I needed to make a mount for a Bates type headlight.

I really like the bike with gas mask on it. I did something similar on mine.
This isn't complete yet I'm going to get a motorcycle light housing and convert it to led and battery power then use it to back light the lenses in the gas mask.
For now it's just one of those cheapo silicone lights with the button cells as back Iight.

Quick update to a bad teardrop light that was beyond regular repair. I gutted the can then upgraded the lamp on the cheap. They have these two pack of 3 LED tap lights at ACE hardware for $5 in the bargain bin. I used grinder stones and sanding drums to take out about 1/16" all the way around for a friction fit. Pressed the light into the resized hole. The battery access plate comes off the back with a slight twist. I temporarily covered the switch hole with an old knob. I plan to pop rivet a fin or something there. The light couldn't set further in because of the hinge and latch. I didn't think it looked too bad sticking forward.
