Hello all. I just picked up a rockabilly Boogie Electra beach cruiser. Was doing some research on the bike and found this Rat Rod Bikes. From what I’ve seen so far it looks like I found like minded people. Happy to be here.

Nice pickup. There are a few members who love their Boogies. I have the 20" steel version in the garage, but my kid says I am not allowed to ride it.

Yeah that's the steel 20, cool bike. Looks like it has different wheels than mine, how many spokes are they? Also looks like they lowered the front end by sliding the clamps down the fork tubes at least 1.5 inches. That's why the tire is nearly rubbing at the top.

I believe it's completely original except for the bell, which is necessary on a bicycle. ThundrrrJr rides it, and believe me, he's got the coolest bike at the park.

Yeah that’s what I noticed any chance anybody knows where I can get a set of original wheels
it looks to be around 60 spokes. And yes when I got it the guy told me he lowered the front end and change the wheels.
