I know it’s an Elgin, but not sure of any other details, including, year, model or approximate value? Thanks for the help.

Nice bike!
I think the Elgin you have was made by Murray. I don't know if the serial numbers were the same on the bikes made for Sears back then. On a Murray, it would have an M O with a third letter that would ID the year.
If it was made by Westfield, the number also will get the year.
