Brett, your striping is always your signature touch! The gold frame with black / white stripes is a perfect combo. Looking forward to the finished product!

I installed the bearing cups from the NOS headset from Smoopy (thanks @smoopy) then proceeded to grab the fork. Then I realized I didn't have a nice crown cover. Started looking through my stash with no luck.

What to do??? When in doubt, spray bomb!!!

Finished installing the fork/ headset assembly. On to the seat... Had a good seat with rusty springs and a torn seat with decent springs, so...yep, hardware swap! Seat done!

I jut had to drop the handlebar/stem assembly in to see the package. Not quite sure on the bars, and I think a slingshot stem would fit the build, but the budget can't stand a 3-digit hit!!

So far so good!! I have a new crank that I was going to use, but it won't fit under the sprocket hub cover. I shuffled through my stash of used stuff and found a Murray crank...a little rusty, but I think I can make it work. Now to soak the bottom bracket bits in my gearhead cocktail!! I don't have a new one of them either!! [emoji15]
