How do you solve a problem like Monster Energy?

Couldn't resist this pretty thing. Promo built on the Felt Guapo cruiser platform

This will be my first time building from the frame up. Where do I start for a checklist of parts? Is this type of frame good for anything other than beach cruising? Any ideas and advice are welcome.

This frame should be good for any road and city use, and can take you through lightest offroad, like parks and walking paths. If you only have what is on the last pictures, you'd probably need:

1. 1-1/8 headset
2. Bottom bracket bearings set (USA standard)
3. Fork
4. Some wheels
5. Seatpost
6. Saddle
7. Seatpost clamp
8. Stem
9. Handlebar
10. Grips
11. Pedals
12. Chainring

The rest would be optional and depend on where are you heading with the build and on other parts you use.
