Huffy Sweet Thunder Christmas Gift 98% DONE

Rebuilding this old girl for my little cousin!

I bought it in july, and it sat. I could never afford the tires, so i've got my cousin's dad buying the tires for me...
But, I did a little "Custom" Restoration work. Pink grips, white streamers, white/chrome chain, and pink Kenda Kontacts...

Heres how I bought it from salvation army:

And the biggest problem area:

I rebuilt the kickstand, I feel like a champ.


Right now the bearings are soaking in Simple Green...I'm gonna go play Skyrim.

Got the bike mostly assembled, finally got the tires! Looks fantastic, the tires are very close to the pink on the bike.

Last thing i've got to do is clean up the pedals, the wheels and wipe it down.

This picture was to kind of check if I want to do white or chrome wheels, and my cousin apparently wants white. I thought the chrome would look sweet.

Just an update, They didn't want to give the bike to the girl just yet, her brother would be extremely jealous, so they passed on it...they will be giving it to her at any time now.
