Just did some horsetrading with my cousin for this old panther , it is very crusty but rides like a dream , cat quite decide what to do with it yet ??????? , any suggestions ????????, thanks for looking !!!!!!!!!

Looks great just as it is, the patina is well developed and consistent throughout the entire bike. Just a hint of color at a few spots attest to the authentic patina. I wouldn't clear coat it, it's enviable without any enhancement. I would ride it and keep it roadworthy.

Those skip tooth parts are quite desirable, could be a couple of hundred bucks just in the chain and sprocket

If you get the customize bug, go buy another frame and start from scratch.
