To be honest, I really dunno the year, I was just goin' by what the guy said when I bought it, but he probably didn't have a clue either! haha! Anyone know if there's an AMF database for serial numbers and stuff?

I'd say 1972 to 1975. The reflectors were probably added when it was new, and they should have SAE codes on them.

The pedals also might have date codes on the shafts close to the crank- they look like UNION pedals, and could have these date stamps. Not conclusive, since they are parts that could have been removed and replaced, but if they're originals you'd have a closer guess at the date.

I love when stuff like this turns up!

the format of the AMF logo on chainguard indicates 1970s goodness.

AMF bought Harley Davidson in the 1970s.. it was a marriage doomed to fail.

This trike is factory; note the mounting plates on the rear chain/seat stays.

This model was also marketed by Sears on the 'Ted Williams' label.
