Like I say, everyone who rides these around here loves them- nice relaxed geo and bombproof... they just just don't get much love from the 4130 snobs (he said, looking around, rolling his eyes, coyly looking for any distraction to draw attention away from himself ;))
 
Not so much a find as a buy, but they were hard to find and I kind of lucked into them...

26 inch, 48 hole, double wall, eyeletted heavy duty tandem rims for a future Klunker build:

Looked everywhere trying to find 48 spoke rims or even un-drilled 26" rims, eventually found them through a one line mention in an eBay add for a closing down bike shop. Got them for $20 each and $22 postage, total $62 AUD!

Picked up some tire fodder for future builds today!

Turns out the slick has a small puncture in the sidewall, I am pretty sure it could be repaired though!
