I'm not sure if this qualifies as a rat rod, but here is my winter trike project. I got it for free. It had bent rear rims, a bent rear axle on one side, no front brakes, and 3 flat tires. I added a top tube and gusset, which I originally planned just for looks, but it stiffened up the neck considerably. I bought new rear rims and tires, and a new chain. I fabricated the front end, and am in the process of making a wagon bed for the back, which I found in a farm field. I am fabricating a banana seat pan from an old school chair, which is made of plastic or fiberglass, with small wood fibers mixed in (VERY STRONG !). I have to make the seat mount, and decide if I want to leave the factory rear band brake, or fabricate an adapter to run a rear disk. I don't have pics of the early stages of the build, unfortunately. I always kick myself later for not taking pictures of my projects. Here are some pics.
