Motorcycle opinions please

Hey guys, a friend is interested in this Honda 750 and asked for opinions. I don't follow bike prices very much, but this does seem high to me. Although as far as I know the 750's are good bikes.

At that mileage it might need cam chain and tensioner. That's a big job and expensive.

I'd try to get it for $900

I've always had good luck with Honda bikes (I've owned a 4 or 5), that price does seem a bit high though like it'sfreeforme said I'd try to get it for $900....Personally I'd try for $800 but I'm a cheapskate.

as stated,the cam chain and tensioner job can get a little pricey if paying a shop.it's not a totally impossible job for someone with some mechanical skills.given all the things it needs as stated in the ad,i think a fair price would be below the 900 dollar mark.when i had my shop,i maintained a customers 750 custom that had over 100,000 miles on it without any major issues.

A dollar per CC. That's been the going rate for years now.
The chain and sprockets/tensioner are a good job and expensive, is the rest of the bike worth a couple hundred more?
