A better shot of the brace i added. The more im looking, the more im thinking of adding another from the top of the swing arm pivot, (green section) to the top of the seat post/top bar area (removing the seat post clamp), and eliminating the steel bolted on pieces...

Finally got in my m8x1.25 coupler nuts today. So i was able to mock up the springer extension. Almost there, gotta finish polishing the extender bars, and grab 2 washers from the hardware store. Sorry for the fuzzy pic.
Basically.... the coupler nut ties the exhisting spring perch thread, onto an additional 2.5" long threaded rod. All that slides into the 1/2" bar. At the top of the 1/2" bar, assembly as usual to the upper spring base. The spring perch bolts still slide up through the 1/2" tube and spring perch as normal function would.
