New New Departure Cut Away

I struck a deal for my cut away hub collection with another member. As I was packing them up I decided the Model D was not worthy of the deal since it was mae with a less than stellar hub. I took the time to make a new one from a minty chrome skip tooth Model D.

Cool. Disc brakes...work great when they're new. Why in the world did you trade away your collection? Must have been something really good in trade. 8) Gary

They have been sitting in a box in my garage since we moved and I thought someone else should enjoy them. I traded for a single brand new Curtis Odom "Pepper Pot" front hub. It will be going on my next build and since I have nothing else on deck the build will be started from the hub and go from there.

If you haven't seen member c.p.odom's hubs I encourage you to check them out. They are beautifully crafted, vintage inspired road and track hubs. I would never be able to afford a set but luckily he admires my work as much as I admire his.
