Old Persons Seat Pan

I was wondering how old this seat is and what it would commonly be used on. It was on an old Schwinn post.

Looks like just post war Schwinn Seat. May have also been used in the 1940s. I didn’t look it up in catalogues but I’ve seen it on this vintage Schwinn. It’s in good shape.

Thanks, that helps. I got it a long time ago with some other old seats but this one was stored in its own box so I was mainly wanting to make sure it wasn't something super desirable.
