Came across this frame and fork (that I acquired in trades a while ago) while sorting through all my bike stuff in storage
I figured this would be a good quick build (not going to touch the paint hence the name) to do for the coaster brake racing that atomic cycles puts on

Frame I believe is a Hanta made to mimic the old school bmx cruisers
as for the springer fork I don't know the make

Looks good Monark! I don't believe I've ever seen a fork like that....GTK (get to klunkin') !

here are some more parts that I was able to scrounge up
(as you can see I got the fork attached to the frame)

The H-bars are a bit odd
they are solid aluminum and I don't think they where originally made for bicycles
as you can see by the saw marks on the ends

As for the rear wheel I am gong with one from a German Rixi tandem

My decision to go with this wheel was because
I learned about this hub from another coaster brake racer
It is called a durex
They made two coaster brake versions
(top) is the standard type and internally is the same as a perry, velosteel and Sachs torpedo
(Bottom) the heavy duty version also used on Rixi mopeds

Since the coaster brake racing only allows for on speed I need a good deal of chain-ring sizes to switch to depending on the track

Here are two of the 38t rings (I have the 36t on the bike
as you can see the 3 piece crank has a bolt area for quicker ring swaps

The bike as it sits so far

just need to decide on what seat to use for the final pic
the vintage diamond seat or the viscount style plastic seat

I vote for vintage diamond.
