Peerless Bike Production Date

I recently acquired a Peerless bike that looks vintage with some modifications (e.g., a 40cc 2-stroke engine) with frame or serial number BC06005167. Could anyone help me identify its production or manufacturing date?

Its a modern frame, as in...the last 20 years or so.

I tried to find a picture, but they make mostly cheap mountain bikes currently (china company). I did find a kids bike that had the same Peerless graphics. I'd assume that it is a 2006 from the BC06 serial number as that is the most common format.

Looks like a fun rig !
