Paint turned out great!
And cool vintage camper project in the background! Did you save the siding, or are you redoing that as well? That is on my bucket list someday. As soon as I drop one of my other 4-5 hobbies I'm into. :21:
I have the siding saved but the previous owner cut it around both wheels to change the tires.

I like the metallic black. Which paint was that?

Rustoleum, in the past I have not been satisfied with its durability. Hopefully I have better luck with this bike.

Do you remember when you were a kid and you got new shoes for school. They were bright and shiny, you knew they would make you run faster and you loved them. That is not the case with the cream tires.View attachment 132725

Just not cutting the mustard, eh? I like the look of the black one.

I like the cream tires for a classy look, but if you are going for speedy, the black tires look better.

I was going to do the cream tires also but I had no other cream to compliment it! They do look good on a red rim I have to say

It’s looking like a bike again The cream color tires are out. This afternoon I sold a Coast King 12 speed. I was disappointed once I realized it had the same size tires with at least one good tube and a couple good parts I could have used. I have tried to find tubes several times for this bike. So I went searching again for a new tube and after not finding any I decided to stop at Goodwill and found a bunch of tubes. I need to make a decision on pedals and handlebars yet.

Looks so good!!

One of the things I was planning to do when I was considering the Spaceliner frame was trying to make a metal tank. So I decided to make one for this bike. It is minimalistic but I don’t think the bike needs to big or complicated. I am trying to decide on color or bare metal or a combination. Also got the handlebars cleaned up. They turned out a lot better than expected.

Bare will probably rusty awesome over some time, Black to me would give it a streamline look, I would probably lean towards Black, but... ya it’s a thinker . Either way your Fab skills are on point!
