Hey all, finally picked up my first project and have some questions. I got it home and started to do some research on what exactly it was. From what I've read its pre 48 because it doesn't have the kick stand built into the frame. The Skip tooth and remaining paint point to a DX? Anymore info would be great!

I plan to only use the frame and handle bars. Is this something that should be kept together for a collector or someone to restore?
I know its rough but thats why I liked it. Going for a board track rat look

Thanks
Zac

The serial number can help narrow it down, it'll be located on the bottom bracket or the dropout.

As to your question- I wouldn't worry about doing with it as you please.

Very cool, not very valuable as a collector bike.

The perfect combination for some RRB fun! ;-)
