Hey guys! It's been a while since my last post. New job, new house, getting married; stuff like that. I was browsing through Facebook marketplace and came across something pretty cool that just so happens to fit my fiancé and my wedding theme and we both loved it from first sight. Drove 2 and a half hours for it round trip!
This ol girl is heavy. Very heavy. Like mass of the moon heavy. Let me tell you, though, whoever built her knew what they were doing because it is clever and built like a tank. The rear rider's crank has a freewheel built into the jackshaft and a custom chain tensioner. Every added sprocket has a grease zert. If it was stick welded this guy was a top notch welder.
I'm not sure what bikes were combined to make this Frankenstein beauty but I do know that it has all skiptooth chain, a morrow rear hub, a blackout new departure front hub, peaked fenders, matching persons saddles, and a nos set of Fisk deluxe tires with the little nibs still on them.
If anybody has an idea of what bikes were combined here I would be greatful for any info. I'm guessing by the parts used that it's 30s-40s but that's just a shot in the dark.
She's gonna get cleaned, lubed and ridden for many more years to come. I can't wait to test it out with my lovey lady tomorrow!
