question on Inner tubes for Fat Frank tires

I don't know if I'm looking too much into this, but I would like to know if a 2.125 inner tube will work okay on the 2.35 Fat frank tires with a 2" wide rim? I was also planning on getting a 2.5 inner tube, but I don't know if its overkill. If anyone with experience can help me out that would be great.

I ask this question because when I first got into bikes I had a little problem. I put a 24x2.125 inner tube in a 24x3 tire and while inflating it, the inner tube went BOOOM!!!... yeah, i dont want that to happen again.

I run standard 2.125 tubes in my Fat Franks and have had no problems.

Robert, If you decide to go with bigger tubes, try Wallingford Bike Supplies in NOLA for fatty Schwalbe tubes. They run $6,50 each. Be sure to pick the correct valve. http://www.wallbike.com/schwalbe/tubes/tube-no-13

I'll tell you what, after I bought my Fat Franks I decided a few dollars wasn't going to kill me so I bought some Panaracer DH Super Tubes that are sized 26 x 2.10 - 2.50. I also bought the fancy cloth rim liners - I call it peace of mind.
