I recently picked up this cool Aussie Repco bmx. 1985 giant built frame. Had bucket loads of potential so I cracked into a good clean up on it.
Here it is, as found.
Stripped it down ready to polish up the frame
Tyres looked sad, but tan walls are in short supply at the moment.
Cleaned and softened up OK with some magic potion.
Going back together. These bikes were originally 5 speeds, but this one suffered a dodgy SS conversion. Then the fast ripper made geared bmx's cool, So I guess it's now cool to refit the gears hahaha.
Fitted a few upgrades over stock.
New bars,
A'me grips,
VP bear traps,
Araya 7X rims.
All greased, polished and paint touched up. Ready to hit the trails.
