I also got the Slaymaker fender spacer drilled out.

Fun!

SLAYMAKER is a cool sounding name, so I had to look it up:
Slaymaker Name Meaning. English: occupational name for a maker of slays (see Slay 1). Altered form of German Schleiermacher, an occupational name for a maker or shawls or scarves, from Middle High German sleier 'scarf', 'shawl', 'veil' + macher 'maker'.

So what you have is a German made Ruff Schleiermacher!:nerd::cool2:

Spent most of the weekend working on the rentals, but it paid off. We have tenants lined up for August 1st move-ins only 12 days after closing on the property. Plus one of the tenants paid for 6 months rent in advance!!!!

So I had some time tonight after work to do a few of my checklist items.
Drilled and tapped the frame for the fender brace, and guard braces.

Painted the back side of the guard with some gumby.

Then added a cool Firestone sticker I had.

Got the headset and fork reassembled with the problem solver headset reducer sleeves.

Got the Monark reflector mounted on the front fender

Test fit the rear fender with the Slaymaker lock spacer screwed to the frame

Added the front fender support and spacer.

I think that is about all I did tonight except spraying a second coat of gumby on the tank center panels.

Now I have to go out of town for 4 days, so I won't be able to get back on this until Saturday. I don't like cutting things this close, but work comes first. I just hope I'll have time for some good photos before deadline.

You can do it !!! The good thing is your in the heart of photo central. Looking good man [emoji1303]

Like all your builds. It never ends, it just keeps getting better and better (Translate: detail after detail)!

Yard sale belt is that even legal !!!!! This bike has gone from innocent gumby . To getting out of control like the hulk at happy hour . And I love everything about it . Shes Ruff as sandpaper & smooth as a shot of crown royal [emoji1305]

Thanks guys, the fenders really cleaned and polished up nicely.
I think the belt trimmed out the tank well.

I also got the reflector mounted on the front fender to match the rear.

I'm pleased with how the chainguard spacer braces turned out. I have the screws tapped into the downtube and the seat tube.

The Firestone flag sticker looks good and I accidentally got a shot of the KINGFISH BB mark to boot.

Painted the recessed area of the Slaymaker lock and then scraped paint from the letters. This looks cool on the bike as the rear fender spacer brace.

I wasn't able to mount the tank because I lost one of the clip on speed nuts. But I had to partially mount it so that I could take a look at how the Felby bars were gonna play with the rest of the build.
