I finally found something that kicked my SK off the bike stand. I still have not really sorted out what this is but I can actually see the finished bike in my head for once and it has been a minute since I really wanted to finish one

I have some new fancy project boxes now that stack and there is only five of them. That might help. The old ones look just like swap meet boxes. This Shelby frame not only has the wrong parts on it but it needs to be completely cut apart so I am going to just steal a few things and return a few things to the original bikes. I looked at the pictures I took before I bought these and curiously the chainring and wheels from my Columbia wandered over to the Shelby. Whatever maybe I am crazy but I am not mad. Grrrrrrrr. At least I wound up with them both geez

That should last another 75 years.

Nevermind those tires but this fork is bent. I am pretty sure it was done deliberately. I still need to fix that

I stopped to mock this up after I repaired the frame just to make sure all these parts were going to profile right. That fork was really jacked. It was on a clown bicycle. Looked like one an acrobat rides or something.

The bike says it does not want paint. I was just checking the geometry on the fork and now it is talking to me

This saddle turned out perfect. I shaped some memory foam to the seat pan. I had a really comfortable leather couch that got rained on (long story ) and I saved to leather for projects.

I needed a few parts from a spare triple speed I can't rebuild. I wound up with two of them this month. These wheels are blackouts with blackout hubs. I didn't realize it until I was cleaning them. Someone tried to blast the black off the rear hub. It is a real shame. These are very cool in good contition. The letters in gold look great in the black. I may fix that later but they are the right age for the frame. I have never seen another set this clean barring the bead blasted hub

I also finally put the headbadge on there.I have a yard art Rollfast with a roached rear triangle . I had to cut it apart to get the fork out of there but it gave up the correct rivets for this head badge. I will put pins on this eventually but there is a bike show tomorrow so I will not have time
