I bought this from a young lad who got 2.125 tires/wheels for it and they wouldn't fit. It appears to be a middleweight. I have 1.75 tires on order - finger crossed that they'll fit. The paint looks like it will clean up nicely, rust is light. Nice twin top tube frame.
The serial # F282611 makes it what year? - guessing mid to late 60's based on what I learned from you all about the other Rollfast I posted. Above the serial number is a circle with the letters "SE" stamped. What does that mean? I'm calling this bike Rollfast SE to differentiate it from my other Rollfast.
Build plan is to keep it somewhat original, while using the chrome wheels with a 3 speed coaster brake in the rear.

Very cool!

The SE was stamped on Snyder built Rollfast, Hawthorne, Western Flyer, Firestone and other brands they built bikes for.
F - is 1964 on those era Snyder frames.

Darn near exact to mine!!!!! mine does have a tank and truss fork, though.

My decal on the down tube also says Royal, not Rollfast, whatever that means!

But all in all, this is a a super cool bike in great shape! -The bike was made in little falls NY!

I think your 1.75 tires will fit fine. The tires on my bike were 1.75.

Keep the balloon tires for another project!

As the tires were flat when I got it, The guy I got it from said it’ll ride if you put air in ‘em.

I couldn't see the badge in your photos, Jude. There's no badge because of the tank? Made in Little Falls? Cool!!!
Thanks Rat Pilot! 1964! I thought the S in SE might be Snyder.
Correct; the tank covers where the head badge would be.

Here’s the tank front, sort of a badge on the tank, although only a decal.

I have an A code 1959 Rollfast that was told to me by some Rollfast gurus to be last of the big tire Snyder built ones. The frame on this is different than the frames you guys have. I bought a tank exactly like Jude’s and it would not fit.

I do have a big tire Columbia-built built Rollfast that I think is probably late 60’s - early 70’s, but it was a newsboy bike, abd they carried 2.125” on up into the 70’s.

I also have a ‘71 or newer Rollfast that is similar to you and Jude’s frame with the twin top bars, but the dropouts are different. It was a 1.75 tire bike too, but I have 2.125’s on it in the picture.

Super clean bikes!!!!

Super clean bikes!!!!

Thanks!
That red one is misleading when pictured by itself - it almost looks proportionally like a 20” bike in pictures without Anything around it, but that bike is just big. The tubing, the fenders, the chainring, bars and everything are just jumbo sized. The frame on my green Rollfast is a little over an inch longer than my Schwinn, and the red Rollfast is about an inch longer than my green one.
