Seeking Custom Bikes for Tempe, AZ Tour de Fat
Event Date: October 15th, 2011
The Phoenix Phreaks bicycle club, in conjunction with the Tempe Bicycle Action Group (TBAG) are hosting a Custom Bicycle Show at the 2011 New Belgium Brewing Tour de Fat Festival in Tempe, Arizona.
We are seeking unique and custom bikes to showcase the best creative talent ARIZONA has to offer. Choppers, trikes, tall bikes, cruisers, vintage classics, pedal cars, decorative "art" bikes, and everything else that qualifies as a human powered vehicle is welcome to apply!
Electric assisted vehicles are ok - just no combustion engines please, as this is an environmentally conscious event.
All bikes must have a kickstand or a stable support device. We need to keep a clear area so people can safely walk through and look at the bikes.
All participants with a bike in the show will receive a thank you gift (to be determined).
This is not a contest, so everyone is a winner! Instead, we are creating an open-air display for the benefit of all bike enthusiasts and festival attendees. This is a FREE event - there are no entry fees to participate or view the bicycles.
HOW TO ENTER:
If you have a bike that you'd like to have featured onsite at the Tour de Fat festival grounds, send us a clear photo or two along with your name and contact info.
We are also accepting walk-up entries at the TdF festival - look for the Phoenix Phreaks display tent.
All bikes are subject to approval by the Phoenix Phreaks.
RAFFLE BICYCLE:
The Phoenix Phreaks will be raffling off a custom-built chopper bicycle at TdF.

DRAWING AT 3PM - MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN BIKE
SECURITY AND DISCLAIMERS:
The Phoenix Phreaks will staff our display tent all day during the TdF festival, and will constantly monitor all bikes in the show.
Inside the TdF festival grounds fencing, and at our show is the safest place for any bike. However, we cannot be responsible for any damages or theft.
