Just picked up from Estate Sale. Never heard of a Fox, also had a 26" girls but no room for it. So the 20" is original paint red/white & truss forks. Looking closer at this bike I think it might be Murray made but not as old as first thought. It looks to have pressed welds on the rear dropouts.... ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT???
I am a BMX/Muscle Bike collector. I would love to know more about it please. I found another one a couple years ago and ended up selling it but regretting letting it go. I really didn't know how few 20" Horn tanks were around. Anyone have the rear rack, headlight and chain guard?

The details of the frame show that this is an AMF built bike produced after AMF purchased Shelby (late 1953/early 1954) and blended production with the Cleveland Welding line they had purchased in 1951.

As such it is likely the serial number can be used to derive the production year for this bike.

Now this is good information. Thank you VERY much. I will get the serial number tonight. Value doesn't matter that much to me. It is growing on me and kind of liking it. It ends up I have a NOS set of 20" Middleweight fenders that I might try out on it.

I like that it is a Rowlett's badged from Richmond. I used to frequent Rowlett's when I lived in Richmond. It was an awesome place, and in 1999 it was about the only place you could buy the repro Schwinn stuff in the area. They are no longer in business but as I understand it they operated for almost 100 yrs.
