To start this story off, I need to go back in time, to `1983. In November of that year I bought the truck in my avatar, an `84 720 King Cab. I traded in my `80 Z28 for it all because a friend of mine had just bought a reg cab 720 and I fell in love with it. It was the Orange Mist. I had to have one too. The K.C. was the only other Orange Mist on the lot so I got it. I kept it for just over a year when I went in the Navy, thats when I sold it. Worst car mistake ever made, or one of them lol.
Anyways, fast forward. I came across this `85 720:
and had to have it. But just like the `84 K.C. 25 years ago, I got bored with it and almost traded it off shortly after getting it but I got some wheels and lowered the front and done this and that to it and fell in love with it, again.
Over night it went from stock to this:
Now, back to the future lol. I was getting bored with this `85 I recently got but I wasn`t gonna get rid of it because of the fuel economy but the thrill was gone. Then I found some old aluminum saw blade wheels for $100 all of sudden life was breathed back into my li`l 720.
Stock height:
After a few turns of the 17mm open end and a loss of 1" in the back
One more thing. In mid `84 I got a wing for my K.C. but took it off prior to getting rid of it when I entered the Navy. I was able to locate that very same wing and now have it in my possession but it needs some work. So take a guess whats going on the bed of the li`l `85, you guessed it.
And here it is:
And by the way, this is all a rolling work in progress.

Washed LO BLAZE today,installed a new starter and cleaned her all up. Forgot how much I love tooling around in her. Put the stock hood back on recently too...
STILL need to spray the front end,LOL!
