Show us your Murals........... I have noticed in a few towns in New England that have supported youth art. At Nauset High School the entire gym wall on the inside is a beach scene that's just down the road. Young artists are inspired to get involved. Some places they just hire a local artist to do the work.
I'm not talking Graffiti, you can take that to your own thread. Here they sponsor kids to put huge murals on buildings. It has worked up to a certain point, at least it slowed down the graffiti but as the next generation slips in these muruals have been vandalized, but it always gets fixed right away.
I have biked around Orleans MA (last summer) to take pictures of the murals. I hope a few of you can do the same around your area. I know in New London CT there are few and up in Ayer on the rail trail there's one so lets share a few of yours.
