This all started a while back as a mate moved from 3 doors away to a couple of blocks away and I needed something to get me there and back when catching up for a beer or ten.

Had a couple of bikes laying around.
This one, and the yellow one as seen in the Rat Poison thread.
One had a busted rear wheel and the other a busted front wheel.... spokes had snapped

So I got the front wheel off the yellow one, put it on here, extended the handlebars and seat tube...
Then it all got out of hand.

Gonna make the front forks longer next and add some dropouts.
It turns a bit too sharply as it is, but cruises very well on the road


































Also played around with some ridiculous handle bars one weekend

i would have low cross bar weilded in to make it safer to ride , i thinki may flex a bit
you think the forks will not bend ?

Unfortunately the frame is ally and I haven't got my welder set up for it
Otherwise I would have tilted the fork tube back a bit.


Planning to add another 200mm or so to the forks.

Will see how it goes.
It does have some flex in it.





Yeh it gets some looks alright.
A bunch of BMX kids came past last weekend when I was sitting on it out the front talking to the neighbour.

"Whooa cool bike dude!" They said.
Yep, 3 times your age and owning the street.
Keep pedalling little ones

Took this with me to the markets on the weekend and parked it up next to my other stuff.
A couple of people asked if it was for sale or if I could build them one.

Might have to knock a couple up and see what I can sell them for.......

Even thinking of doing a couple of crazy kid's scooters with fat rear wheel and something like a unicycle with a car wheel.....
Someone might want it.
Would be easy to build......

Gonna take the Rat Poison chopper with me next weekend I think, and set it up with a rusty chain "fence" around it and a "Work in progress" sign.
