Found this today at the Englishtown swap meet in NJ. Should clean up nicely. 2 speed hub and the price was definitely right. Does anyone know how to date these?

Post your Serial Number and I will look it up for you. I have four Flightliners in my collection. Leo

I have 2 now. The one I just picked up: 502 46641. 341068 and the other 502 63010 982100 Here is the other, I have changed out the fork since this pic was taken. Thanks

The chain guard style was last used in 1963 so it's should be prior to 1964. Serial will allow someone to narrow it down.

I looked at my catalog and I am somewhat unsure of your new bike that you picked up. The numbers don't quite match for any certain year. But the Serial Numbers are only 1 number off for Flightliners for 1962 models. Maybe it was made between 62-63. The numbers for that year were between 4660 and 4663. The older Higgins of yours I have not found any numbers matching yet, I will keep looking. Any way both are nice bikes, enjoy them. Leo
