In the trash on my street. A Trek 820, I don't know anything about these. It's not in great shape but is ride-able. Klunker parts???

Rear axle's kinda wide, can't use the brakes or rear derailleur on an old timer without frame mods or costly add-ons. Slather that drive-train with Blaster and use it to ride to the corner store. :|
 
Treks always sell well. I have never had a problem selling them. Just clean it up and flip it. Or keep and ride. They make great commuter bikes.
 
1994ish Trek 820. Fix it up and enjoy it. Good quality bike, about $330-$350 when new.
Check the grey plastic spring carriers on the back of the brake arms. They were known to crack, leaving you with no spring return. If broken, replace the brakes. They're actually cheaper and easier to get than the carriers...
